A change of life gave me the idea to learn more about Stoicism. In his book, Jonas Salzgeber manages to dive into the historical background of philosophy and the lessons of its philosophers in a vivid and entertaining way.
As an ignoramus of Stoicism, I not only learned a lot about philosophy, but also about myself. In the second half of the book, Jonas Salzgeber conveys the many precepts of Stoicism, with definitions, but also with examples from the ancient authors and from modern everyday life. I sometimes find myself subconsciously remembering the rules and acting accordingly. A small success for me and another stoic for the world.
In the audiobook, Peter Wolter lends his voice as the reader, which is a sizzling casting.
